I will never get over tonight. Ever.
I seen there was a meet and greet with Wish Bone and Caine at a dispensary in Hazel Park. It was a Saturday and we had nothing to do so Stevie and I decided to go. We had to wait in the parking lot for a few but I wanted to be the last in line so I could take my time and get my shirt signed.
When we got in there I helped out and took pictures for 2 people then it was my turn. I walked up and Wish says “I know you” I’m guessing its from the last two shows or Instagram but oh my. After taking pictures and getting my shirt signed we were getting ready to head out and he said we’ll see you at the show tonight. I didn’t buy tickets so I told them I didn’t have tickets and he said Oh then well just put you on that list too. WHAT?! I walked over to Caine and gave him my name and he put that and a plus one and sent it to someone. I was told to pick up my all access pass at will call in about an hour.
I walked to the truck speechless. I can’t believe this is happening. I called the boys to let them know that we won’t be coming home because were going to be hanging out with Bone Thugs N Harmony. Is this a dream?
We drove to Detroit and parked in front of The Fillmore so parking was easy and only $25. We waited in the car for a few and let some time pass before we had to pick up tickets and let what just happened register a little more.
We got up to the box office and handed her our Id’s and she printed us tickets and gave us wristbands and we went in the premium seating side. Our wristbands got us to the green room and on stage but we couldn’t go upstairs to where the dressing room was.
We made it to the main floor still kinda confused on where to go so we bought us some waters and the security guard let us know when we were allowed to go back.
Once we went back it really hit, holy shit we are backstage. We went to the green room but there wasn’t anything exciting in there so we went on to the stage and looking out at the crowd was like I can’t believe I am standing here, in this moment, and this is real life.
It was such a blast standing in the mix of everyone on stage and the loud music. I still just can’t believe it happened to me.
After the concert we kinda followed upstairs to the dressing room where I finally got my picture with Layzie bone. I was not leaving without one. I walked in the dressing room and asked him for a picture after everyone had clearned out.
We closed the night down with them and walked out when they did.
I don’t think anything will ever top this night.
